STEM Ambassadors volunteer their time and expertise to promote STEM to young people in original, creative, practical and engaging ways.
See Science work with over 2000 brilliant and inspiring volunteers who support the STEM curriculum in schools, support STEM activities in the community and raise awareness of STEM careers.
STEM Ambassadors are from a diverse range of backgrounds, representing a large number of different employers. Amongst many other backgrounds and professions, our STEM Ambassadors include: environmental scientists, aerospace engineers, energy analysts, geologists, geneticists, nuclear physicists, chemical engineers, graphic designers, finance managers, architects, games designers, project managers, surveyors and medical professionals. They help open the doors to a world of opportunities and possibilities which come from pursuing STEM subjects and careers. Whether you are an employer, teacher, community or youth group leader, or currently volunteer as a STEM Ambassador, we can support you.
Evidence shows that 90% of young people who engage with STEM Ambassadors say that it increases their engagement with STEM, helping them to make informed decisions about their future careers.
